I don't believe that you can go to some guy in a tent and have him smack you on the forehead and say "you're healed" and it'll work. I do believe, though, that positive thinking and prayers can bring about healing and in a way that might be considered faith healing. But in the "traditional" sense of the term, no, I don't believe it.

No. In cases where faith healing "works", there is usually a rational medical explanation which is either not known YET, or IS known but is simply ignored. In cases where it doesn't work...that's pretty self-explanatory. --- Most prominent faith healers, like Peter Popoff and Benny Hinn have been exposed as frauds. Popoff used a hidden earpiece in which he was relayed a person's private information, but he would say "I have never met this person yet I know everything about them because God is telling me". And Benny Hinn never EVER tries to heal anybody with visible injuries or diseases (i.e. scars, broken legs), he only sticks to people with internal injuries whom he can fool.
