  • Go to college. Once there, several of the fraternities will try to seduce you into joining them. Their criteria may be academics, sports, or just whichever school you attend. All of them will cost you $$$. If you decide to join, you may be asked to "pledge" to them. This usually involves you performing some sort of ritual or (silly) act to prove that you really wish to join. This isn't a bad thing unless they take it to an extreme. I.e. Silliness = Good / Hazing = Bad. After that, it is pretty much a done deal. Oh, grades are usually a must in a fraternity. If you fall below a certain GPA, you will be put on warning. If you remain there, you will be booted from the fraternity. Best of luck. Fred (PTK)
  • Does every Univeristy have fraternities cause i would love to join and make some freinds since i have never ever really had close freinds that stick by me during problems! and how much does it usually cost!! just give me an estimate !! plaz and thanks
  • Not all universities have them, however a lot of them do. Those that do have them also dont always have houses. Normally it will cost anywhere from 300-700 (approx) a semester. Keep in mind that as a freshman, or being new to the frat, you will not be respected like other brothers who have been there longer. You will be humiliated, told to do stupid things, do their dirty work, be picked on, and after they know you have gone through what they had to go through, then they will call you their brother and you will have life long friendships. If its something you want to do, go to the college's student organization fair, or just stop by a booth during rush week.
