We would be complaining even more about there not being enough time in a day to get everything done.

Days would be half as long and months would have double the days (or there would be 24 months in the year).

The 3 day turnarounds on getting cheques cleared would destroy the banks.

The catastrophic effect of the actual accelleration aside ... If the Earth's rotation was 1/12hours, the magnetic field would be twice as strong and the VanAllen Belts would filter out more cosmic rays. The latter might have a positive effect on over-all health of organisms, but by halving the sleep/wake cycle of all organisms, there would also be a possibly disastrous (ecologically speaking) increase in metabolism. For example, Chickens raised in artificial environments with 6-hours of "day" and 6-hours of "night" mature and grow much faster (and die younger), and eat almost double the amount of their "naturally" raised counterparts.

I would be a very confused Tespot. BTW, I really like your avatar! :D

Days would be 12 hours long. Night would only be six hours and day only six hours. The rise of the ocean tide would be much larger since the water would have a lot more angular momentum.
