  • Since there is no known cure for HIV, if he had ceased to have it I imagine that it would be headline news. Since I have not seen such headlines, I would guess that he still does have HIV.
  • Yes, but his virus loads are undetectable and he shows no symptoms of AIDS. Thus, he is considered a non-progressor. He is still infected, though. http://www.sciencecases.org/aids/aids.pdf
  • If he has it, then he can never get rid of it, it doesn't work like that.
  • Thanks for everybodies answers! I had heard that he know longer had it or it went into remission. On the hand, I am a firm believer that God is able to cure even the most deadly disease around; and that's probably what happened.
  • Once you catch HIV, then you have it. There is cure.
