No. I try to be very careful with the information I put on the net. There are so many phishing emails that it's ridiculous.

the phonies with stolen credit cards email my job but i can always smell a rat because they are "hurry, rush, hurry" and that is a red flag of a scam artist

no ... not yet, but I don't do my banking on line and very very rarely give my credit card stuff out over the net/web either ...I have friends who work in the banking sector and they always tell me how easy it is to get ripped of and the banks know but don't give a shit ... so I keep it to a once in a blue moon thing and only on very very secure sites

I almost was, but fortunately the bank prevented any damage. It happened last May - all I knew at the time was that my debit card was suddenly inactive. When I went online I learned that someone had hacked my Paypal account and sent through about a hundred fraudulent transactions of $39.99 apiece. Both Paypal and my bank immediately spotted the 100 instantaneous charges, flagged these transactions and deactivated everything until I phoned to sort it out. I had to get a brand new debit card and shut down my Paypal account, but I didn't lose any money, thank goodness. It's kind of scary, because if the hack had been just a little bit more subtle, it might not have been spotted so quickly. But I'm pleased that everything got sorted out right away.
