CONTROVERSIAL: What stereotype have you found to be most true about people, if any?

At least where I live People from the age of 16-22 who term themselves goth, in my experence all tend to have the opinion they they are so different from everyone else and that they are "cooler" than others for their lack of conformity. I have heard the same sphiel from mabe 30 of theese people, and they always get really angry when you point out to them that they all look the same and the word goth is like like saying I am an alternative conformist. They get even more angry when you tell them that human nature seeks conformity and acceptance, you are really rebelling against the people who believe everything that is told to them or "sheep". There have been some delightfull exceptions to this horrible sterotype that I have about "goths" but that is why I keep asking the same questions. Depending on the answers the term is interchangeable with idiot. Maybe its just a minnesota thing, but I would rather dress like a normal person (shudder) and have people define me by my actions, opinions , personality and beliefs.
