Why do my cats enjoy watching tv and PC?

Mine love it, too. I think movement and color really catches their eyes. I have one that sits in my lap while I'm at the computer, and he likes watching the cursor move around the screen. I even found a DVD for cats that has birds, squirrels, etc. that keeps them fascinated.

It's the combination of the flashing colors and sound and they probably just want to be around you.
