Help answer this question below.

I have a 1990 isuzu picup truck 2.6 litre i just replaced the timing belt and the head gasket and now my engine doent sound lke its getting compression what could be wrong?

    1 Did you check compression with gauge and compared with manual?

    2 If timing is not exactly correct valve adjustment and chain timing, distributor timing compression will seem poor.

    3 If 1 above is still poor after checking 2 then check again for head gasket leak with testing equipment for radiator/exhaust

    4 If exhaust shows high oil consumption then oil rings need replacement. Major Engine Rebuild

    5 If radiator shows excess gases or exhaust excess water vapor then head or head gasket problem
