I have found both to be true, some women say they can only orgasm with clitoral and some only with vaginal. To that I say, maybe you do not know what an orgasm is. Men have one type and they ejaculate, some times they actually have little ones and don't know it. Most men don't know they do this, it took me many years to realize what was going on. So to women who only think they orgasm one way you are probably wrong. You mistake an orgasm for a climax. Women have many different types of orgasms with different intensities and durations. For instance I was with a women who only thought she had vaginal orgasms. Not matter what, even though I would play with her clit she swore she was not cumming. Yet she would gush lubrication and have little tremors and spasms. Hello!!!!!! those were orgasms, what she meant was that she only climaxed from vaginal stimulation. All that moaning and groaning accompanied by little spasms were orgasms.

Yep, know just what you are saying! I think it is pretty common. I can also say, that it has improved as I have aged.
