I ditch the sheet, unless the room has very good air conditioning.

I have to at least have the sheet over me. Somehow makes me feel secure. So, I have the ceiling fan on and the window open. If it's really hot, which is seldom is at night at the beach in California, I close the window and turn on the a/c.
-
I start with a sheet but it ends up in a pile at the foot of the bed by morning.
-
Naked as a jaybird, with every fan I can possibly find around me.
-
I have a sheet and a blanket or two, my mother cranks the a/c so that it feels like we live in the artic. I must find house soon, summer is coming again.
-
No sheets. Just me in my birthday suit with the window open a tad.
-
I gotta have a sheet or something regardless. I own cats.
-
Without any covers.

I am a half and half with covers no matter what time of year it is. If the swealtering summer is here, I would have my air conditioner on wherever I slept. But we only sleep with a sheet and duvet all year anyway......but half of me is under and the other have is out!
-
We don't get sweltering summers where I live now, but when I was a kid I would put the sheet across my waist so I wasn't really covered, but it kind of felt like I was.

This is awful and wasteful, but I absolutely NEED to be covered with something substantial in order to sleep. In summer, I typically use a sheet and comforter, and just crank the hell out of the air conditioning.
