  • 72 hours and because I'm a very merry insomniac.
  • hmm i think it was about 4 days, and it was when i turned 19 .. you can imagine why
  • Go to bed.;-)
  • 41 hours because we were young and partying. I think you're going to surpass me, miri but hopefully you won't be passing Zack's personal record.
  • I've stayed up for a couple of days, it's not easy though. When I was in high school one time I stayed to whole night and next morning playing chess.
  • 4 days. Cocaine is a helluva drug.
  • I think it was 36 hours maybe 38 can't remember. I have trouble sleeping sometimes.
  • Without any catnaps, I've gone about 55 hours without sleep, I am an architecture major and I had a big project due and only a few days to get everything done.
  • 48 hours. I got up at 6 to go to school then after school my cousin and I stayed at my aunt's house. We stayed up all night playing playstation (that's how long ago this was) and then we were up all day Saturday and then played games all Saturday night too. Then we went home on Sunday and we both fell asleep on the way home that afternoon.
  • About 7 1/2 days I parachuted into north Vietnam at night alone for harassment and general fun and games on the bad guys, they spotted me floating and opened fire on me, (tracers from an AK 47 is exciting) but I Didi-moued real quick, I was having to keep moving for over a week so the search parties of NVA couldn't catch me. My pick up was about 20 miles on the So. Vietnams side of the DMZ. After de-breifing I slept for 3 days straight! My (Kidneys were much stronger at 19 than at 57)
  • It was about 46 hours, I believe. It was when I was in the Navy. I had 24 hour duty on a Thursday, and I was too busy to squeeze in any sleep. After I got off duty, I drove up to Delaware to visit a good friend of mine that was pregnant, (something I did quite frequently at that time.) We decided to go out to shoot some pool with her brother. So we went out and had a good time, then while we were driving home, I mentioned that I was really tired and that I was looking forward to going straight to bed, and she replied, "Yeah, it's just too bad that you're not going to get the chance." To which my reply was, "Why?...o_O" "Well, the contractions are about 6 minutes apart right now." "WHA... WHA...WHA...WHA...WHAT?!?!?!" So I spent most of the night with her in the hospital, until I fell asleep for 1 1/2 hours with my head on her hospital bed. Didn't take long to get woken up to go in the delivery room though. Her best friend came down with the flu, so I was coaching her in the delivery room. So I didn't get any more sleep until later that night. So from 5 am Thursday morning, I got 1 1/2 hours of sleep until Saturday night at about midnight.
  • I stayed awake for 72 hours cramming for my final exams as a sophomore in college. As a result of that, I suffered my first panic attack and I ended up sleeping for 21 and a half straight hours after I went home from school.
  • Around two full days, I think. It was a long time ago and I can't really remember, but I think it was a little more than two days. I was sick....like, deathly sick. There was not much sleeping for me during that time, as I was in too much pain. Besides, I've never been good at sleeping; it's not unsual for me to stay awake for as much as 36 hours just because...
  • I think it was 48 hours we were moving in and I wouldn't stop till bedroom was set up, then the bathroom after 2 long days. --> Type A
  • 48 hours. I had strep throat. My throat was so irritated that nothing could suppress my coughing long enough for me to fall asleep for 2 consecutive nights. Why do they give medical interns such long shifts?
  • My longest would have to be about 54 hours. I travelled from Sydney to New Zealand to Argentina to Brazil. Most of the flights had big delays and when I finally got to my destination I couldn't sleep. So I went out to a night club and had a wonderful time. Got back to the hotel and still couldn't sleep. I felt by that time that I was starting to go insane. Black dots in front of the eyes and slight hallucinations. When I did finally sleep it was for 20 hours straight.
