I wouldn`t put it past the Royal Family, although this does not appear to be the case. She died because she got into a car with a drunken madman who drove like a maniac through the streets of Paris at extremly high speeds.

It was an accident. Of course, the conspiracy buffs came with their conspiracy theory. It always happen. People can't accept that a terrible event can just happen as a result of a common, mundane act.

What convinced me that she was murdered is when they found the French driver of the Renault car that bumped them in the tunnel.He was found dead many months later.He had been decapitated and was found inside his burnt out car in a wood.He had been a French newspaper reporter.At the time Princess Diana died, he said his car was off the road on bricks in his garage.

I would say there is a reasonable possibility of murder.Accidents have been staged,many times and it would be naive to believe that this case is any different.There was many issues between her and the royal family,and was well known by the media.
