  • the middle hurts like a bitch.
  • I had my labret done a while back. It didn't hurt so much as it felt strange going through. The piercer clamped it, then pulled it down to get the needle through from the inside pushing out. It went through like butter on the inside of the mouth but once it reached the skin on the outside it hesitated a little so he switched him hand position and pushed the needle through the rest of the way and there was a 'pop' noise and feeling. It was tender for a while, esp if I would catch the jewelry while eating, but it didn't 'hurt'. Every persons experience is different.
  • Side lip piercings aren't to bad, less than nose and cartilge but more than toungue and eyebrow. It depends, mine only took about 3 weeks, for it to heal faster wash your mouth with alcohol free mouth wash after eating and smoking and clean twice a day with salty water. It's more painful in the middle cause it's thicker than the side, they also take a little longer to heal
  • I had my labret done and that hurt but then afterwards it was fine and had no problem with it really, Getting snake bites tomorrow though, I heard piercings at the side are not as painful, not sure though..
  • What lips are you referring to? Everything possible these days.
  • no mate they dont. i am a 16 yo boy and a central labret was the first piercing i have had in my life! most people start with the ear but not me!!! no it pinches a bit but the guy that did mine did not even use a clamp! he drew the dot i said ok, he told me to hold my lip out and it was very quick. the jewlery being put in can sting a little but it will be fine. i am going to get my left side of the lip done with a ring and my nose bridge pierced and cartilage and eyebrow next, piercings are very addictive!
