I had to be castrated in 1985, and have been on testosterone supplements ever since.
I'm no less a male because my balls have been removed. I'm still functional even though I have only my penis.
My dad went through this treatment.
The most noticeable change was in his voice.
It lost about 6 low decibles and his voice began higher pitched, like a girls.
You can overcome this by thinking before you speak and remembering what you voice use to sound like.
I'm not a male but would it be the same as steroids?
I am a 55 yr. old male that had a low T level. Most MDs seem to favor anti-depressants, which I tried 8-9 differant times over a 10 yr. peroid. They were of zero help in my case. Self injections of a small amount of testosterone were of much greater benefit for me. Also the self injections are a fraction of the cost of the gels or creams.
