I had a flight cancelled once right before a cruise and I had to buy tickets by walking up to a counter and I paid $700-800 for tickets that I had originally purchased for about $200. Ouch!

$425. Thankfully not too high - yet! My dad had to pay like $2,000 for one, though. This was to get to his father's funeral!
