  • So... what's the question?
  • maybe it's the sensor inside the gas tank which alerts you when it is low
  • Would this be something the dealer can adjust?
  • I have the same issue - it's the gas sensor thingy (sorry, I AM a girl...). It needs to be replaced.
  • It might be the fuel tank sending unit is starting to go bad.
  • It's an electronic sensor with a mechanical arm. There's no real adjustment. Normally they are just replaced. Keep in mind that to replace or even access the unit, the fuel tank needs to be emptied, disconnected, dropped, and opened. This takes lots of time and therefore results in high labour costs. If you're going to go to that expense you mineswell replace it and not have to worry about it. I also recommend driving it a bit to get the gas level down. The less gas they have to drain, the cheaper it will be in labour. Good luck
  • I have the same problem. I just use my trip odometer to tell me how much gas is left. Re-Fill every 200 miles and you'll be fine.
