Certainly, in the workplace for example people might bully others, or be passive-aggressive to others, which is essentially the same thing if they do it out of the blue with no provocation on your part. In cases where this happens to me, I try to meticulously keep track of all such incidents. When I feel I have enough information to make a case, I'd go to the person's supervisor and let them know that their employee is being a dick. If for whatever reason the supervisor doesn't do anything about it, I take it up the chain of command. Failing that, well, let's just say I'm the kind of person who holds a grudge for a very long time, but also am one who goes by the old proverb, "Revenge is a dish best served cold." Meaning, wait until things simmer down and the perpetrator least expects it, then retaliate.

I thank the person for their kind comments and input. Then secretly screw things up for them.

You have to go above and beyond them. Log each situation - insult. Try to always say the same thing as sarcasm. Basically kill them with kindness. "Forgive me for being so foolish"! And smile. After a while they'll get the hint. Three strikes and I bring my log to my supervisor, so she can observe going forward and take action.

Oh.... I see my question about "How is putting people down a help for AB?" got shut down, too. I guess I didn't phrase it right. Well, best thing to do now is just drop it. I guess labeling the question "spam/offense" was they're way of hinting for me to shut up (whoever 'they' are). I don't want to end up in the Penalty box. Okay..... ('-')

I've had heaps of experience of being bullied and discrimination, so I guess nowadays I've gotten used to bullying and pretty much immune to it. I don't get affected by insults or at least not that I'm aware of. Sometimes, after an insult I'd say, "You're a lovely person" and walk away and leave them to figure out whether I was being sarcastic or truthful or something else.
