  • Its rude and none of their business. Yes it bothers me. People aren't supposed to ask those questions it is bad etiquette. Of course it also depends on the context in which it is asked. The way some people ask is offensive.

  • No, and I like to know their details. If one of us is doing something wrong then maybe the other one can help rectify the fault. If I am earning more, then maybe my friends could get a job at my place, or if they are earning more then perhaps I should be doing what they are doing. It's our only defence.
  • It doesnt really bother me too much because Im pretty open about most things....but it does annoy me when my husbands side of the family are constantly asking about everything. They are Turkish and it seems that money makes the world turn to them...the Turks seem to be obsesssed with the financial details of everyone else
  • It completely depends on who the friend is and how close they are. Most people don't ask, but think we're loaded because of the job my husband has. That really annoys me!
