Who else thinks they shouldn't have made kit a mustang for the new knight rider movie?

I think they should have used the old Pontiac Trans Am. It would have been just as cool to have the old car, and much cooler than having a new mustang.

Definately, I used to watch the old ones when I was a kid, I think the mustang is stupid in comparison to the trans am.

I agree. Unfortunately, these days TV shows and movies are all about product placement. Since Ford is bringing back the Mustang Cobra they found a way to possibly boost their sales.

I miss the K.I.T.T. Trans Am too :( The new car doesn't have the same voice or features as the older car.
