  • Well, first - fire that house cleaner. They should know better. First try baking soda mixed with liquid dish detergent to make paste. Rub it by hand in to the stained area, rinse really well and buff with a clean, soft cloth (I like to use microfiber on stainless steel for buffing). If THAT doesn't work, try vinegar, but be REALLY careful as vinegar is bad if you leave it on too long - so again, rinse well. At my shop, I use Barkeeper's Friend in a good powder formula. But I have never had to remove really bad stains with it beyond coffee and hard water marks. If ALL else fails, you may have to restore the stainless instead of cleaning it. That usually involves buy a kit and scrubbing and brushing the whole thing done, basically refinishing it to make it look even - but that is a pain and very involved and results vary. GOOD LUCK :o)
  • Can I use the Baking Soda used for baking? Thanks
