What is the maximum sampling rate of Dolby Pro Logic II? Can Pro Logic II decode a 96kHz audio stream, or is it limited to 48kHz?

Dolby Pro Logic II supports sampling rates of 32, 44.056, 44.1, 47.952, and 48 kHz. You cannot encode an audio signal with a sampling rate higher than 48 kHz. Audio signals that have been digitized at other sampling rates need to be downsampled and/or resampled in software or hardware before they can be encoded.
