We have one caat that loved to lick up powdered sugar like from a donut. IT's so odd since cats don't have sweet taste buds. I can't figure it out, why she likes it so much, other than maybe she's senile lol!!! She is 20:-)

one of my cats won't touch human food except for sweet potatoe pie. However i have tried chicken fish and steak and she wants nothing to do with it.
my kitten however likes to share my guineas roman lettuce and if i cut them up a cucumber she has to have a slice as well. As soon as she hears me open their cages she is there for her share as well. If it is green she will eat it. I think she has it in her head that she is a guinea pig herself

One of my cats loves sweetcorn. He once went out and randomly brought back corn on the cob and ate it all. Another time we had some pasta on the side which also had sweetcorn in it and he snuck up on the kitchen side and ate it. He left some of the pasta though. :)

My cat, Oliver, loves fishing things out of the sink. His favorite is lettuce. He grabs it and runs away with his prize and usually trails pieces all over the house as he eats it. He steals carrots too. I think he's part ferret. :)

there's a lot of "people" food that a lot of my cats have liked over the years. but the strangest would be potatoes. a couple have liked fries...one especially love McDonald's fries and would beg for them. But, he also like baked potato and snuck up and grabbed potato skin off of my s/o's plate one time and ran off with it like he had a big prize. My first cat loved bananas...and she must have been able to smell them from anywhere in the house, because she'd come and find you. She would even lick the inside of the banana peel.

Oh my gosh, olives. My old cat used to go crazy for them, then rub her nose in the brine, just like catnip! She loved peas too, but I think she just mostly liked the thrill of killing and devouring them when I rolled them on the floor for her!

One of our cats has a thing for very ripe tropical fruit. The second I slice open a mango or papaya, she runs in the kitchen and starts howling. We also had a cat who had a thing for creamed corn. I opened a can and this cat ate an entire can when I looked away for a minute. All of our kids love cheese!

I answered this way back when it was first asked. Very recently, one of my cats all of a sudden starting beggin for lettuce. He seems to know whenever I'm making a sandwich or a salad and he comes running to the kitchen. He even tries to sneak into the bag of lettuce when I'm not looking.

Salt and vinegar "French Fries", the crisps (that will cause confusion depending on where you are from- not made any clearer by that last comment of crisps!). He does also eat chips, but wont eat the fish if we have fish and chips! he was a stray and had some...er... gassy problems when first adjusting to cat food!

Had one male cat that loved green olives. Go figure. But after about 3, he would act a little loopy. Think it acted like cat nip on him. He loved them so much he would come take them out of your hand if you were not careful.
My little female cat loves the grated Parmesan cheese like you get at a pizza place.
