I'm in the US but these cameras don't bother me. the real problem of big brother is much deeper and bigger then that. The city (nyc) recently installed cameras in parks to catch people vandalizing and I think it's a good idea. if the government and corps wanted to watch us they could do so without blatantly placing cameras in obvious places....and i'm sure they have.

I am not so worried about the cameras watching me as I am by the patriot act which was put in place after 9/11. With the act in force they can monitor the books you buy or check out of the library and they can search your home secretly and do a whole lot of other things that step your constitutional rights as a citizen of the United States of America. That is what I call "Big Brother" it is a much larger picture.

I never thought it was a myth..Mind you I worked in a high security area for many many years and I am sure that every sneeze I ever sneezed is recorded somewhere. Oddly, it just never bothered me, It still doesn't. If someone is bored enough to be watching me then there aren't enough real problems in the world:)
