She would have ended up in Mexico instead :)
-
She would have led a boring life.
-
she mite have followed the old dirt road instead
-
She would have never discovered that home was within her all along. She would have stayed asleep at the wheel.
-
She would have been to OZ 2 days earlier and would never have had to screw around fighting off those nasty flying monkeys with shriner's hats (that still gives me nightmares, btw). She had to follow the rules and ask (and follow) directions. I would have taken her on a shortcut, but she would have ended up in trouble with Aunty Em, explaining about the tattoo. 6 of one, half a dozen of another.

I think she and the Scarecrow would have made a lovely couple together and had a cute little shack in the cornfields where he would have a steady job. Dorothy could sing in the local pub for a few coins.
-
Dorthy and the Tin Man would have wound up in Las Vegas and as we all know..... What Happens In Vegas Stays In Vegas.
-
I might never have heard the wonderful song "Over the Rainbow," and that would have been a tremendous loss.
-
She'd have gone back to the howling old owl in the woods hunting the horny back toad.
-
she would be denying her only purpose in life and thus she would never get home
-
She would have never woken up....I'm guessing :P
-
She would have awaken sooner, but that wouldn't have made nearly as good of a movie.

It's just like on Answerbag, ask the right question. If Dorothy would have asked the right question in the first place, "How do I get home?", instead of "How do I start for the Emerald City?" she would have been home a lot sooner.
