  • Don't put your hand near the cats face anymore. That should solve the problem. I would hope.
  • my cat used to sit under the coffee table and take a playful swipe at my leg whenever i walked past. sometimes she would tag me pretty good. one time, she scratched me really hard and i pretended to be in pain and fell on the ground moaning like i had really been hurt. she never used her claws on me again after that.
  • Get a toy for the cat to bite instead. When the cat wants to bite, play with it using the toy if you have time. If it bites your hand and you don't want to play, try not to move the bitten hand, remain calm and use the other hand to romove the cat. Then just leave and ignore the cat. I'm not qualified in cat psychology but this worked for us.
