If you suddenly left AB for good, would you become legendary on here or would people forget about you?

Somebody would notice that I had left, but I would be buried under the "pile" of new ABers and forgotten about after a couple of weeks (or days, perhaps I flatter myself).

I believe your good friends would miss you and not forget you...don't know about being "legendary", though..that sounds presumptuous , pompous and egotistical to me.If the quality of your questions (which never leave) were good enough, new people would keep them alive by answering them. Unfortunately, if you were gone you'd never know and could not acknowledge their answers, which would be very sad I think.

I don't need to leave to become legendary. :-) Don't worry - I'm not that full of myself. I think some would definitely notice, but after a while, every bright star fades.

I would hope not to be a legend, or even remembered after a couple of days. So many folks here are smart, adaptable people, and the "the show must go on". Months ago, we experienced a permanent loss here in AB world. The man was honored, and is occasionally missed, but everyone kept each other busy, and the loss was soon less poignant. It's interesting to me, to see that a large group of people responded, and kept each other busy to the way we keep Aunt Beatrice busy when Uncle Lindy dies. We put her to cooking, and we put our cousins to helping with chores and life goes on. (Aunt and Uncle are hypothetical, btw) .. Blah Blah Blather. The point I am making is that we are a genuine community, and have already proven that we deal with some things the same way we do in a "you need a tic tac - I can smell your breath" community. Y'all better at least pretend that I was legendary for at least half a day, though.

ForGET about me? They make me submit a new AB membership request EVERY DAMN DAY! What's THAT all about?

AB would shut down 100 years in the future before anyone noticed I was gone.

I have over 4,700 questions and counting. Anyone who comes across my questions will see my username, and many of them may notice. I'd say I'll still be remembered for a long time yet.

I haven't been on here long enough for people to become really attached to me. SO yeah..I'll be noticed when I'm gone...but that's about it really :P

I think a handful of people might wonder where I had gone but for the most part I don't think anything would change, no legends or back room whispers. There are so many interesting new people that come this way, even once legends seem to fade away.

I doubt anyone would notice, now. It seems about 95% of the people that I once corresponded with almost daily, have DISAPPEARED! I think there must be a BIG, UGLY, "under-the-AB bridge" troll (with big, hairy warts), eating all the good, decent AB friends I used to have, (notice - he didn't even TOUCH me)!

I know there are a few who would probably miss me if I were gone but I highly doubt I would become legendary. Most of you would just forget about me after awhile.

i would most likely would not be remembered Yeah, forgotten. There are wayyy better ABer's and so many ABer's that most people have no idea who i am or that i even exist on AB so, yeah, i'd be forgotten. !woot!
