Last summer, I was at a BBQ and I was playing with my friend's pet snake. I moved towards the door to bring her back in the house my other friend was at the door and bugged out seeing the snake and SLAMMED it on my finger. I had to go to the ER because it was broken!

I was 10 and slammed my thumb in the car door while closing it after climbing out. I had a little help my aunt while climbing out of the front seat hit my elbow sending my hand back between the door and jam.

Last summer, turning into the garage to park the bike, I hit loose gravel in the alleyway, and the bike tipped over at a high rate of speed,and my fingers on my right hand were split open and broken under 850 lbs of bike between the asphalt and the tank.

this summer I was talking to my daughter and slammed my fingers in the car door, but it was so quick it didnt hurt to much.

When I was 16 my boyfriend dropped me off at school and my thumb got caught when I shut the door. That was 42 years ago and I still remember the horrible pain. Had to stay at school the whole day in agony then went to the hospital so they could drill a hole in the nail to release the pressure.

Been a long time for me for more than a hard pinch... My wife just got two finger caught between the belt and "shim" (wheel) of an industrial fan she was testing. Luckily, they caught at the edge and only mashed the tips - breaking the top bone in 3 places on her middle finger and 1 on the forefinger. (OUCH! BIG time!) Hosptial sewed them back up, and hand surgeon's just keeping an eye on it for infection.
