It's normal. Don't sweat it. Just dilute listerine 50 water. You'll be fine.

I cannot say for sure, but the yellow-ish "thing" may be pus, caused by an infection.
I am not very acquainted with piercings, but something similar happened to me when I had my earrings holes made. And yes, if this is your case as well, you should go and have a treatment, especially as it is about your tongue.

The same thing happened on my belly..that's why I'm thinking it may just be normal healing...???

Usually "normal" healing happens without pus or any other kind of "stuff".
The mouth is filled with different kinds of bacteria, and it is possible that one of those bacteria slightly infected your new piercing.
As I said, I'm not an expert, but usually pus-like liquid coming out of a newly-made "wound" is not good. And if this goes one for a few days more, without showing signs it will stop, or heal, it would be better to consult the person who made the piercing, or a doctor.

I have had mine done for 7 yrs now and that only happened to me when I drank a lot of alcohol the first couple of days after having it done. I just took a q-tip and wiped away the puss stuff and washed my mouth out with listerine 3 or 4 times a day and mine was cool!

That's fine don't be to worried. I have my tongue pierced and it happened to me. All you do is take a Q-tip and dip one of the ends in peroxide and where u see the yellow-ish discharge just remove it with the Q-tip and rinse with a little peroxide and water or salt water it happens to new piercings. It shouldn't happen if the piercing is fully healed.
