Help answer this question below.

Which ipod or mp3 player where you charge the internal battery, plays the longest before you have 2 recharge mine says 14 hours playing but only actually lasts 2 hours,do they lie about the amount of time the battery lasts.

    I can last QUITE a while... though the settings matter a LOT.
    if I use my backlight, that cuts my battery life to about one-third of it's rated 20 hours. In average use, I can get about 15 hours, mostly music but about 1/2 hour of video.

    Battery problems is a weak point of ipods. You might have a leak battery or the board might not have good connection with the battery. Also this can be the case if you didn't bought your ipod from an apple store than it might not be an apple battery.
