Why is the Federal Government dragging its feet on deporting illegal immigrants? the longer the wait, the bigger the population. was this the plan in the beginning? illegal immigrants are adding to the skyrocketing crime rate in America. what's next?

Actually, illegal immigrants are LESS likely to commit crimes. Criminal acts increase the risk of deportation. Even in a "snctuary city", dealing with the police and possibly being detained is a hassle. Of course a few high-profile cases on the news may make it SEEM like an epidemic, but can you honestly tell me that US citizens don't do the same or worse? Wasn't Timothy McVeigh a citizen? Or John Couey? Not to mention that we want our companies to grow. If they can reduce costs (thereby improving profits and netting more tax revenue) by hiring illegals at a lower cost then you know DAMN well that we won't deport them until the Conservatives are ousted fromoffice. Not that the Liberals would deport them though....
