They have their place for travel and on occasion are handy if not uncomfortable. Personally I have gone to a backpack purse for more security and ease of use and wear.

Yes, they probably should be banned, but they are so darn handy...therein lies the problem. Do I want to lug everyone's stuff or do I want my family (kids) to carry their own crap? Such a dilema.... :)
