  • The state can press charges with or without your parents' involvement. However, they don't typically get involved unless someone (ANYONE) blows a whistle.
  • He's already in trouble. He's guilty of statutory rape. The laws are different in each State, but in almost every State, your parents are just as guilty as he is if they fail to press charges. It's called "aiding and abetting a felony," and "contributing to the delinquency of a minor." How old are you? If you are old enough to marry with your parents' consent, then that might be a way to solve this. It's a lousy solution, but it would keep him, and possibly your parents, out of prison. You've got yourself in a fine mess.
  • But how can they prove that the child is his? Can they make you take a DNA test?? I'm in the exact same situation
  • Depending on which state you live in, check out the "Age on Consent." If you're below it, he could go to jail for a while and be required to register as a sex offender when he gets out. Minimum, it's corruption of a minor. Worst case, rape. Being under the age of consent, you're consent to have sex with someone is not valid. Legally, it's worthless. You're parents can't give him consent, either. And the state can press charges if it becomes an issue. With or without yours or your parents' consent. (again, worst case scenario) My advice, talk to your parents.
