  • More like fill-in-the-blank economics. Tickling the ears of the taxpayer.
  • It's another way of saying "Don't hate the rich because you're getting their crumbs aren't you?"

  • No, I think it means that the flow of money is wide open at the top and the rich get most of it. Whatever is left, trickles down to the middle and lower class and that is rarely much of anything worth having.
  • MOre like trickle on economics. It means if you help the rich make more money, they will pass it on down to the poor by paying them higher wages, etc. It all seems to get stuck at the top tho.

  • no, not exactly. The idea is that big business get tax breaks to free up their income so that they can afford increase their size and market influence, which then leads to the need to hire more employees, which leads to more money flowing down to the middle and lower income levels. It is built on a cause and effect principle that can be effective but requires businesses to respond in the expected means. In other words if the businesses just hoard the money and make no attempt to grow then the plan won't work, but if they do take advantage of the opportunity to increase in production then it works great, although usually slowly.
  • It means that if we have healthy businesses it will allow for a healthy economy, therefore, benefiting everyone indirectly.
  • Without what the rich buy you would have fewer services. But they are as stupid as poor people are without their advisers. An average person's life span means they will only have limited amount of time to absorb wisdom. You are looking at the wrong end of the pyramid. If you want society to become better then everyone must love wisdom and improve society or continue to have these lame and pathetic banter about the rich.
