Too many people believe in this either/or concept. When there are two choices, you can do both. Save at least 1/2 of the money you have, and find some well chosen bargains on your new clothes with the other half.

It depends on your circumstances, do you have any outstanding bills or debts, have you paid everything you need to pay....? if so i'd save it or buy premium bonds, at least you are in with a chance of winning some and the value doesn't depreciate. Clothes tend to only get ruined, shrunk or only worn once but thats me being sensible :)

Are you naked? Do your socks have large holes in them? Are your jeans two sizes too small? If not...Save your money. Be smart. Clothes are not as important as other things.

Buy the clothes you need for important reasons, as long as it can better your image, but it is better not to waste too much money there. As long as you already have the clothes you need, it would be better to save your money for more interesting projects.

Save it unless you are really in need of clothes. When you do buy clothes, it is better to buy a few good quality garmets that a ton of cheap stuff. Just my two cents.

These days, all of us have to save money! Let's be content with the clothes that we have right now. We can buy new ones later anyway.

Spending money will always make you happier. Spending money on clothes is about the highest level of satisfaction you can get. Because, not only do you feel good spending money, you feel good about the fact your spending money to improve your appearance as well. Which is a win win situation. You should definitely spend money on clothes, live it up.

Save some at a time. If you are in need of clothes now, by all means go get you some. But if you have enough (at least have one outfit per day) then save. As you get your money, put so much in savings, keep out enough to buy food, supplies, etc. You do this every time you get paid you will have enough money later to buy all the clothes you want, or whatever comes up.
