A couple of years ago at Thanksgiving. It made me remember that I really don't like champagne. If I am going to drink, I would rather have a chablis or merlot, depending on the moment.

I drank champagne at Wente Winery in Livermore, California. This is a great place to attend a concert. It's a small, intimate setting with great food and wine before the music.

The last time I had champagne was in 1999 (New Year's Eve). I was dating a guy who was a local radio Disc Jockey (DJ) and he had a lot of money. He bought like a $200 bottle of Dom Perignon...Wow! It was great. It was at a club in North Carolina (where I used to live) called Cagney's. I miss that place!! It was a great party. I love Champagne, but it's too expensive for me to order these days. I haven't had it since then.
