she would need the salary of a cleaner, the salary of a chef, the salary of a child minder and the salary of a psychiatrist am no good at maths so somebody else would have to work it out. all i can say is they should get paid alot.

Even at minimum wage for a stay-at-home mom, it would be around $180/day. That is $65,700 per year. Twenty-four hours a day, no paid vacation, no lunch breaks, either! She will have to take some abuse and work when she's sick. But the benefits package is pretty good (hugs, kisses, smiles, and the rest!)

It's beyond money. Noone could be PAID to deal with that. Not 24hrs a day. If you're the parent you're sort of stuck with it.

Even today, women are still paid less on average. There is no amount of money that can match a mother's chores that keeps the human civilization here.
