  • That depends on what it is and who I'm getting information from. For example if my husband says that I won't like it I'll check it out for myself. If my sister says you won't like it I'll take her word on it.
  • Oddly enough, I am more trusting when people tell me I would like something than when they tell me I definitely won't like it. A few months ago someone told me that I'd really like a sandwich from a restaurant across the street from my school, and I've yet to go there. But last week someone told me I'd definitely this one German candy. So I ordered it, and MAN was it disgusting. I never really thought about how irrational it was until now...
  • It depends on who is advising me whether something is good or not. If it's someone I know well and know that they have the same tastes that I do, and, they say something is good, I will assume that I will like whatever it is. On the flip side, I know someone who hates Pulp Fiction and hates E.T. Whenever she says that I will like something, I always assume that I probably won't because I don't trust her tastes in things at all.
  • Definitely.
