No it doesn't. Usually it's because they infact don't know better and that they're just blagging you. If you do feel belittled however, I think that you have self esteem issues and need to learn to have confidence in your own ability. Happy Hunting everyone.

It only annoys me if I have a mountain to stand on in terms of evidence to the contrary and they are hyper-huffy when corrected. I can tolerate know it alls that are well read and intelligent, I cannot tolerate those who merely act the part. I decide who does/does not belittle me. I decide what is better too. Helps the water roll off of one like a ducks back :)

All the time. sometimes they dont even know you, or how much you know and still judge you as you dont know as well as I do, type feeling.

It ok to have great knowledge .I know of several but I respect them and ask for advice sometimes. They are gifted and are like sponges just to gain knowledge and understanding. But they don't put me down because I did not know something. When people start doing that , they in my opinion just feel insecure and have to belittle someone to make themself feel good. Pride does that also.

People like that have personal problems, compounded by the fact that they are trying so hard to be perfect that they don't DARE have even a moment of intropsection. Just ignore them and move along.

this really botheres me because i want help and they dont do any thing but try to correct me went they think the know every thing and that doesnt help me at all and it relly pisses me off because instewd of it helping me it does the oppisiste

Yes it does. Even if a person does know a lot, there are ways of saying things that don't leave people feeling belittled. Some people just thrive on that. It's good to know things, but obviously they never learned manners; which are very important!
