I am 16 weeks pregnant and i have recently been spotting blood. It has calmed down but recently i am getting a browny type discharge or blood. Is this normal? Do i have anything to worry about?

I dont think you do. I spotted for about 2 months. Around my 12th week through about my 19th week. I had small ulcer type things around my uterus that were bursting cause the baby was getting bigger. it didnt have anything to do with the baby and it didnt hurt him in anyway. NO WORRIES!! =D

Brown discharge is old blood, so it's not an immediate concern. You should bring up the spotting with your OB or midwife at your next appointment, though.
