  • i have a DVR in my front room, and regular direct tv in the back.. I could go without it... I scheduel my days fairly well anyways.
  • I had a DVR during undergrad (scholarship money at work) and it was awesome. It is SO DAMN DIFFICULT to get used to not having one now, so I resort to streaming any TV shows that I have time to watch from the internet.
  • if you have comcast, get a DVR... it's part of their service... and you dont really have to worry about getting anything more.
  • Two TiVos. Both connected via wireless to a server. So we can listen to all of the CDs we ripped down to MP3s, scroll through all of our digital pics, and watch what we want and bypass commercials. Love it. But I could live without it. But for me, if I have technology, I am going to maximize the use, or walk away from it.
  • DVR. It comes in handy sometimes.
  • I have something called Sky+. (here in the UK) it's just like a DVR and TiVo. I don't think I could ever record things via tape or disc again. It's so convinient. And great pressin one button to record a whole series. This is where my DVD recorder comes in. I then transfer my recorings on to dick and I have my very own DVD collection. And again all with the press of a couple of buttons. I couldn't live without it.
  • I don't have have DVR or TiVo because I don't have the time to deal with these things. I have the expensive habit of purchasing DVDs every week and this includes box sets of TV shows. I'm currently watching season six of "The Waltons".
  • NO! I BELIVE DVR'S CONTAIN ELECTRONIC HEROIN!
  • DVR and No I cannot do without it. I record every day
