  • I'm having trouble backing anyone - I hate all the choices. And I think it would be despicable to vote for someone just because they were a woman or African American. You should only vote for someone because you think they are the best (or at least your best choice) person for the job.
  • You'd better edit your question to say "Woman-American" in case she gets offended... ;) . Hillary kind of makes my skin crawl, but I'm not sure how much that matters in a President. On the other hand, the GOP would probably oppose her more than it would oppose Obama, so maybe less would get done. . Obama is actually (or actually really really seems to be) a real person who's not just in it for the ego and power. OTOH, I think that his desire to bring the troops out of Iraq within a year would be extremely harmful. . So jeez I dunno.
  • I am backing Obama 100% and no headache in sight. :)
  • I'm not backing anyone and I would promptly kick them both in the mouth for being lairs. I'd vote Mimi anyway, but she isn't running.
  • CNN was asking last night if women feel compelled to vote for Hillary just because she is a woman. I think CNN would not ask that question of a man, but I digress. I do not feel compelled to vote for Hillary just because she is a woman. I feel compelled to vote for the person I believe can do the most good for this country in general. At this point in time I do not know who that is. I don't have a headache yet because I have refused to listen to most of the mishmash that IS the primaries!!
  • Migraines on the way! African American is kind of swaying me...but I'm finicky.. so that could change!:D
  • Neither, I am backing another man.
  • Definately african american. He wants to de-crimilize ganja!!!! (But seeing as I will be in NZ, doesn't really affect me)
  • UGH I was watching the polls last night like it was the Superbowl! I don't understand how Barack could have possibly won 14 states to Hillary's 8 and he's STILL losing?! How is this a democracy? How is that fair?! (I'm backing Obama 100% - not because he's black, but because I agree with his stance on the majority of issues presented and feel he would be a better leader for this country.) LL
  • Damn it. I can't answer that because i choose neither.
  • I voted for Hillary in the primaries, but even if Obama gets nominated, I could vote for him as well. Yes, it would be historic for either one of them to get elected. But, I'm not voting based on gender or race. I vote on who best represents my interests...and no republican candidate does that.
