How do you treat a belly button piercing that has pus coming from it? Can I use a warm compress followed by salt water, or should I just wash with antibacterial soap?

I had this happen to me when I first got my belly-button pierced. Keep the area clean, wash with antibacterial soap and also use an antibacterial cream on it. Something that you can get over the counter at the drugstore. If it persists or changes color go to your Doctor!
