I've used it. My sister had a plastic square bread tie, and my nephew opened his mouth from across the room, being funny. She threw it, and hit for 3 points. It went in his throat and he couldn't breath. The Heimlich maneuver cleared it out.

I witnessed it used on my daughter when she was 2, she choked on a piece of lettuce. I have also done CPR on a drowning child.
