I feel better when I do. Not at the moment of the confession, but the few things I haven't confessed in my life, I still feel terrible about. I've forgiven myself for everything else.
-
I think it does. I think we are designed to not want to lie even though we learn to do it very well.
-
yes it feels fantastic. The people affected will not trust you but trust can always be won back with the right determination.
-
YES! The only thing that feels better is not doing anything you'd need to lie about.

It depends who your confessing to. If it's the police then confess and make things easier for yourself. If it's a lie or wrong doing. It's sometimes best to keep it to yourself. Especially if the person your confessing to will be greatly hurt and upset. Just try to never do the same thing again. If you keep doing it, maybe it would be better for you not to be with that person anymore for there sake and emotional well being.
-
Yes, it is hard work, to keep up with lies and trying to cover things up.
-

-
No. That's just some bullshit the cops say to you, to GET you to confess. +5

Nope, only forgiving yourself and overcoming your own guilt and self-hatred will.
