I think so. Bars are a pain in the ass and it is like shooting a shotgun. You hit a bunch of stuff you wish you missed. The internet allows you to sit back and target your search to someone that you think is what you are looking for. I met my wife that way. The bar scene is a dying relic of the past.

I really think is more popular now. I personally don't like bars. Internet? Well, I don't think there is much difference, it's all in the people.
