Why do women wear perfume that smells like flowers if guys perfer the smell of cars?

I'm a guy and I don't prefer the smell of cars even though I have rebuilt engines before.I just enjoy working on them. Where did you get the idea that men prefer the smell of cars? Flowers are beautiful to have in the yard. The jasmine flower has a very pleasant smell to it as do most roses.
