I do have mine one below another, but I only have 7 icons on my desktop. I have made a folder for the icons that I use often, and named it frequently used, and one is for rarely used. Then I made another folder, by right clicking on your desktop and selecting new folder, in that one I keep the websites I go shopping on. You can drag and drop icons into the new folders. I try to keep my desktop organized as much as I can. Good Luck..

On my desktop I have them in a column on the left. On my laptop I have them in 1 1/4 columns on the right.

Mine are all shoved up against the left side of my desktop, I like to see my wallpaper. :)

My icons are all in a row. How do you do it otherwise?

When I'm in Linux, I have no desktop icons ... when I'm in Windows XP, I have one icon, the recycle bin, which can not be deleted ... I keep it in the bottom right corner.

Mine are ll jumbled on the screen, I'll organize them later..

I only have 2 icons, Computer and Recycle Bin, I hate having a cluttered desktop. I have them up in the top left hand corner.
