Why are hispanics considers a "minority" in the US, when there's millions of them?

Hispanics are considered a minority because they have more melanin than "white" people, and they need to be protected from "white" people because "white" people are predatory. You should know that already. Remember, white people owned slaves, nm that everybody else did too, just focus on what you're told to think and you'll be fine.

Our politically correct government has redefined the term "minority" to mean any group who are perceived to have been the targets of discrimination. I think they did that so that they could include women in the official list of "minorities," even though women are 57% of the total population. Note the term "perceived." Perceived by whom?
