When people post questions they already know the answer to, and are posting the question as more of a riddle or "can you guess" kind of thing, do you find it bothersome or even egotistical?

No, maybe they are doing it for research/or using information for a "statistical approach" to solve there own problems. Who can really guess one's motives for posing questions?

It's fairly obvious most of the time but sometimes I would like to know the answer myself so I research it and from that I have gained so I post my answer and reward the asker (it's only fair) :o)

No not at all. I take it for granted that 99% of the people that ask questions already know the answers. Some just want opinions and others just want you to agree with them. Only the third kind are a little annoying.
