Why is it the children who tell more lies are always the ones to get better grades in school?

That's just not true. I get good grades and I try not to lie ever. I've never seen any example of a lying/good grades correlation.

I don't think that's true. If a child could be successful by telling lies, he will be successful for only a very short period of time. Eventually the truth will catch up with him or her.

I teach Kindergarten (the land of fantasy where even Spongebob is "real"), and I see that the kids who tell lies don't get the best grades on things like naming letters of the alphabet, but they are very creative at sharing time. I think it all depends on motivation and how creative they are..
